Rise from the dust, O Jerusalem. Sit place of honor. Remove the chains of slavery from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion. Isaiah 52:2 (NLT)
Oh, my sweet friend, I pray that you see your release in this verse! I pray that you see your place of honor next to the King.
No longer do we need to sit in the grim dungeon of religion bound to the darkness of past sin. We are set free from the shackles of guilt and shame. We are no longer slaves, but rather, honorable daughters. We can walk in the freedom of Jesus and what He gave when He died for our sins.
God never intended for us to become slaves to the world. He had placed man in paradise and was so in love with them. When the choice was made to hear the lies of the enemy, God allowed us to have the ability to choose life or death. He didn’t force us to choose Him. He wants us to choose Him. He doesn’t need us to choose Him. He loves us enough to wait for us to willingly choose Him.
When He brought His Son to the world knowing He would be rejected, beaten, and put to a sinner’s death, He did so because He wanted a way for us to be restored into a right relationship that He longs to have. He made a way for us to come to Him without going through the veil. He did this so we could be set free from the shackles and chains that bind us to the past.
My Friend, walk in the redeeming love that God has for you and know that He wants to be close to you. He has your place of honor just waiting for you to claim.
Let us know that we have a seat at the table of honor without chains.
