Join Me on the Backroads in 2026

Welcome, My Friend! So glad you are joining me for this blog post.

Well, here we are. It’s 2026, and the Backroads & Breakthroughs Community is open.

You have met me on the backroads and read my story — the overwhelm, the pullover moments, and the breakthrough encounters that have transformed everything and brought us together.

Let me just say… I am proud of you for choosing that one thing to forge this year. I am excited to see how you navigate the journey. I cannot wait to see the transformation that is coming.

Now, let me tell you what I have learned on this journey!

We are not meant to travel alone.  Let me make that a bit clearer…

We are not meant to travel alone!

Listen when I tell you, I tried the solo route. I was becoming a pro at white-knuckling through the hard moments and forcing myself to have it all together. I lived a life believing that real faith meant that I had it figured out on my own. And guess what? I was stuck. I was exhausted. And I was circling the same mountain over and over. I was wondering why I could never get to that breakthrough moment.

But then… I found my fellow travelers, and everything changed.

Friend, Welcome to Backroads & Breakthroughs

This isn’t just the weekly blog that drops in your inbox on Thursdays. Friend, this is a community of overwhelmed hearts discovering breakthrough encounters together. I am inviting you to officially join us as we step into 2026 with a heart set on the journey with Jesus.

You’re probably asking what this is going to look like — right?

Well, let me tell you about this sweet space of the internet.

Our free — yes, I said free — community includes everything that you need to start traveling with us:

  • Monthly digital journal pages delivered right to your inbox
  • Weekly encouragement and teaching posts
  • Connection with other fellow travelers
  • Monthly scripture focus and reflection prompts

The best part is … there is no pressure and zero cost! Just an invitation to join us on this journey as we navigate faith and life. And it’s comforting to know that you are not alone in the chaos.

In the coming months, this community will develop, and there will be more to engage with, but for now, we are going to focus on getting started with the basics.

Your Journey Journal is waiting.

When you join the community, you will get a journey journal to download and print as needed. Then, each month, there will be new additions such as reflection pages, prayer moment pages, and study notes. This will be your travel log, so to speak. It’s the place where you will capture your pullover moments, process the overwhelm, and recognize how Jesus shows up in every mile.

So you’re not sure you are ready to start? Don’t worry, you will get a “How to Journal Your Journey” guide that will help you find your rhythm for journaling. There is no wrong way to journal, my friend… It’s all in how it helps you navigate the journey.

Fresh Start

There is something to be said about starting something new and powerful with others. A dynamic connection occurs when you gather with others to say, “2026 is the year I stop traveling alone.”

You do not need to have anything figured out, and you do not need to be good at the “spiritual stuff.” You just need a hungry and willing heart to get still long enough to encounter Jesus.

That’s it. That is all that is required.

The invitation is sent.

Here is what I am asking:

Are you ready to pull over and have the conversations that matter? Look no further — here are your opportunities:

Join the Free Community – Get monthly journal pages, weekly encouragement, and connection with fellow travelers

Download This Month’s Free Journal Pages – No commitment required, just a gift to get you started

Follow the Journey Channel on YouTube – Come along for the ride

Friend, there is a seat for you in this “66 van. The engine is running, and the radio is tuned to the music that will encourage your spirit. There is a whole community of travelers ready to welcome you.

Let’s travel 2026 together.

The backroads are waiting for us to enjoy the scenery and the moments that matter.

See you there

Grab your journal and spend a few minutes with these questions:

  • Are you ready to stop traveling alone?
  • Which speaks to you more – weekly encouragement or monthly journal pages?
  • What does “fresh start” mean to you for 2026?
