I am simply a freelance writer who loves Jesus, Bibles, books, planners, and journals. I enjoy time with my husband, kids, and grandkids. They make the moments count. I have learned to enjoy the small things that make your spirit smile.
I grew up in a small mountain town, Leadville, Colorado, and moved to Oklahoma just as I was starting high school. As a young girl, I was more focused on sports and writing was not something that I had planned on as a way of making a living. But God has other plans right??
I have since grown in a passion for writing and I believe that writing is summed up in this quote:
“We write for the same reason that we walk, talk, climb mountains or swim the oceans – because we can. We have some impulse within us that makes us want to explain ourselves to other human beings. That’s why we paint, that’s why we dare to love someone – because we have the impulse to explain who we are.” ~Maya Angelou
A few years ago I was able to walk away from a corporate job to pursue work as a freelance writer and content creator.
My husband and I enjoy attending church and you can find us at the Welcome Center each Sunday. I also enjoy being a part of other ministries at church. This is a way for me to share the love of God with the women who come through the doors of the church.
After losing my oldest son in September of 2021, I began to truly seek God’s call on my life. Through the grief of losing my son, I began to rely on the promise of God. I began to seek God in all things. This led to a full surrender to the will of God in my life.
As I come out of the cave and step into healing, I find that I have a new and brighter desire to serve the women within my territory. Whether it be here or in my local church I hope to share the beautiful love of God that leads us through brokenness into healing.
